Inspiring the next generation for a career in manufacturing is one thing Brian Mayfield and his team do that has a sizable impact on shaping our future. Our gratitude for their invaluable contributions to the local community. ??
Early exposure to manufacturing has an outsized impact on what careers students choose to pursue after graduation. Marvin welcomed students from Warroad Public Schools to learn about what engineers do at Marvin and how we stay safe at work. Students had the chance to see raw lumber turned into cut stock and moulded into window components, and saw a 2x4 shot at a window to understand impact testing (always the highlight of the day). After using 3D printing technology to create take-home dinosaurs, I’m confident we met many future engineers, machinists and more this week.?
