This weekend, we lost one of Martin’s own, Earl Cox, Chief Strategy Officer Emeritus. Earl was a beloved mentor and brilliant strategist who made an indelible mark on The Martin Agency and the industry as a whole. His leadership style was grounded in authenticity, and he had a remarkable ability to see beyond the noise, always pushing for more impactful, meaningful work. Earl’s influence went far beyond strategy — he was a coach, friend, and guiding force for so many of us, known for his genuine care and support. Earl had a unique gift for spotting talent and nurturing future leaders, always leaving those who worked with him better for the experience. Even after leaving Martin, his pride in the agency never wavered. He remained a constant cheerleader, celebrating our successes with the same warmth and joy he brought to every room he entered. Earl’s legacy lives on in the countless lives he impacted, and we will miss him deeply.
