Conferences are about learning, networking, telling your program’s story, meeting new and old colleagues and friends. It can be exhausting and overstimulating. Being authentic makes it less work and more fun. Theresa Jacobsen knows this well. We are glad to have her representing The Maples. Believing in being real and enjoying what we do is part of who we are as a mental health agency.

We enjoyed the fellowship and learning at The Resiliency in Recovery Conference in Fort Worth. Shot out to Jesse Cordova and Hollie Higgins for the hospitality. Tanya Stuart brought her teaching and learning skills to the conference as well as some yummy New Orleans King Cake. (Flying in with Cake)???? Somebody in the crowd of over 130 clinicians found the baby.

So much fun representing our Maples and Genesis team at The Gulf Coast Social Work Conference in Biloxi! Met many new professionals wanting to know about our programs. However, what was most rewarding is having so many share how much they love the work we are doing!
