The Maine Graduate & Professional Center (the Maine Center) at the University of Maine System is a vibrant, innovative, interdisciplinary center for graduate students, professionals, and innovators located in the heart of Maine’s economic and commercial center. Based in Portland but serving students, employers, and professionals statewide, the Maine Center is advancing interdisciplinary graduate education across business, law, policy, public health, and engineering while creating a hub of innovation and entrepreneurship in Greater Portland that has local, regional, and statewide impact. The Center’s collaborative model is designed to foster greater student success and career opportunities while expanding partnerships to ensure responsiveness to industry and addressing the economic needs of the state.
