Our first Circle of Creation Session was a blast! This session was an introduction to Emotional Intelligence and AI, the overarching theme of our Circle of Creation series. As technology continues to evolve, emotional intelligence remains a key skill that allows us to connect, lead, and innovate in meaningful ways. Here are some key takeaways from our discussion: ? We started with a networking game to help participants connect and discover shared experiences across industries. ? Emme Devonish, one of our Advisory Committee members and an EI expert, shared how emotional intelligence is a trainable skill that enhances communication, leadership, and decision-making. ? Lori Pugh led a discussion on the five core components of EI—Self-awareness, Self-regulation, Motivation, Empathy, and Social Skills—and how these skills impact our daily interactions. ? Lori also conducted a live AI demo, showing how AI tools like ChatGPT can enhance communication, craft messaging, and help us consider different perspectives. ?
