Hot off the press: our first Commission-led paper, led by the incredible Iris M. Blom, which identifies: - critical shortfalls in global commitments to sustainable healthcare under the?COP26?Health Programme; - critical gaps in monitoring indicators, raising concerns of greenwashing; and - a call for robust, outcome-oriented indicators and independent monitoring.

Just had a nice piece published in Kidney International as part of their Green Nephrology series. Entitled "Cutting back on low-value health care practices supports sustainable kidney care", the paper examines the three main value perspectives as it relates to healthcare (clinical effectiveness, cost-effectiveness and community perspectives) within the broader societal values of ethics and equity. I authored it with the wonderful Andrea Viecelli and Valerie Luyckx. They were a joy to work with, and I certainly learnt a lot from them as we developed the piece from our initial ideas to what it eventually became. https://doi.org/10.1016/ j.kint.2023.12.022
