Empowering individuals and uplifting communities—one person, one load of laundry, and one neighborhood at a time.

关于我们

Our Mission At The Laundry Truck LA, we proudly stand as one of the first mobile laundry services in the world dedicated to serving individuals experiencing homelessness and our neighbors in need. We believe that providing laundry services is a crucial first step toward restoring dignity, enhancing mental health, and improving hygiene for our local unhoused community. Since 2019, we have completed over 400,000 pounds of laundry, striving to uplift day-to-day livelihoods, create employment opportunities, and support school attendance. Together, we can make a difference in the lives of those we serve, fostering hope and renewal in our community.

USC Professor | Founder of North

The most empowering, innovative class led by Laura Fox and Ben Vandebunt. Students research, vet, and select social impact organizations to receive $100k in grants (donated by the professors). The students like Guillermo and founders like Jodie Dolan of The Laundry Truck LA are dedicated and inspiring. Congratulations to USC Marshall School of Business for offering this extraordinary experience.

Impact and Profit Aren’t Opposites—They’re a win-win. I used to think the most profitable companies were the greediest—some might be—but my experience with Laura Fox and Ben Van de Bunt at USC Marshall School of Business showed me another way: purpose-driven enterprises that succeed financially while improving lives. People like Bobby Turner of Turner Impact Capital, creating affordable housing and infrastructure for 150,000 underserved individuals [1], and Francois Reihani of La La Land Kind Cafe, giving youth on the verge of transitioning out of the foster care real opportunities, prove that profit and purpose can coexist. This class taught me lessons I’ll carry for life. Ben emphasized kindness as an underused resource that benefits others and sparks reciprocity. Laura highlighted accountability—measuring impact and holding organizations to their promises. Mr. Turner stressed the real value of diversity: better perspectives, innovation, and smarter decisions. These ideas reshaped how I view the world. We applied these lessons in hands-on projects. With $85,000 to allocate among six ventures. We worked with 60 candidates to evaluate their financials, missions, and potential impact—a process that was both inspiring and heart-wrenching. All the candidates were doing life-changing work. We ultimately selected six: The Laundry Truck LA, Arts Bridging the Gap, Meals in Motion, Lunch Bunch, SLA, and The Tiyya Foundation. Their leaders’ passion was humbling and a testament to the power of perseverance, consistency and humility. Guest speakers and organizations echoed one unifying thread: money without purpose lacks meaning. Kindness, accountability, and genuine purpose aren’t just corporate LinkedIn feel-good ideals; they’re the future of smart, impactful and profitable business. I can’t fully capture what this class gave me in a 2500 character text, but it changed my life profoundly. To Jodie Dolan and Angelica Naccarati, representing your incredible organization was an honor. Samantha Schilling, your help with TLTLA meant the world to me. Kyle Denman, Nicholas Doran, Natasha Case, Jessie Salazar, April McDaniel, Romi Lassally, Michelle Rhone-Collins, Dan Davidson, Andrew Garza, Steve Ballmer, Francois Reihani, and Bobby Turner, It was a privilege to learn about your inspiring work, it truly left its mark on me. Ben Van de Bunt, Laura Fox, and Kristen Paglia, you have profoundly changed my life, and I can’t thank you enough. [1] https://lnkd.in/gC7Y-6xN [2] https://lnkd.in/gqgRH8wr

  • Yesterday at the Westwood Recreation Center, The Laundry Truck LA ?? team had the honor of serving members of our community who have been affected by the devastating fires in Los Angeles County. The stories we heard and the resilience we witnessed left us deeply moved. The fires have left so many of our neighbors without homes, belongings, or a sense of stability. In addition to the Westwood Recreation Center, TLTLA is providing service at The Arroyo, a women’s shelter impacted by a power outage, and is in conversation with many evacuation centers to extend our support. At The Laundry Truck LA, we are dedicated to providing free mobile laundry ???????? services to those in need. Right now, we are focused on delivering clean clothes to the unhoused and homeless community, as well as individuals and families affected by the LA County fires, helping restore hygiene and a sense of normalcy during these challenging times. To expand our efforts and reach even more neighbors in need, we urgently need your support. ?? Join us in supporting our fundraiser, TLTLA fire relief fund. Together, we can make a meaningful difference for those who need it most. With a goal of raising $10,000, we aim to ensure that The Laundry Truck LA continues providing hope, hygiene, and comfort to those affected by this tragedy. Thank you for supporting The Laundry Truck LA ???? and helping our Los Angeles neighbors during this challenging time. Your generosity truly makes a meaningful difference! #lafirerelief #thelaundrytruckla #pacificpalisades #eaton
