Michelle (Chambliss) Cain joins The Juniper Initiative as Co-Owner, and our new President & Chief Business Development Officer! Michelle has more than 25 years of experience in the government sector, including work with county, state, and federal agencies, as well as both large and small AE firms. She began her career as a technical Environmental Scientist, earning a Bachelor of Science in Environmental Studies & Policy with a minor in Geography from the University of West Florida. Utilizing her technical knowledge throughout a robust career, she eventually expanded her expertise into Federal Business Development. Since then, Michelle has been helping small AE businesses grow their federal portfolios by leveraging her market knowledge, collaborating with teaming partners, and overseeing the execution of contracts. Over the years, Michelle has been deeply involved in the Society of American Military Engineers (SAME). She has served on the national SAME board supporting various committees, was the former Regional Vice President (RVP) for the Missouri River Region (2021-2023), former 2019 St. Louis Post President, and is currently a SAME mentor. She also chairs the Membership Committee for both the St. Louis and Scott Field Posts, as well as the Veterans Committee and Programs Committee for the St. Louis Post.
