Global network of cancer care professionals innovating with evidence-informed conventional and complimentary therapies

关于我们

The Integrative Oncology Working Group (IOWG) is a global community of cancer care providers dedicated to bridging advancements in surgical, medical, and radiation oncology with evidence-informed integrative care. We combine integrative, functional, lifestyle, and mind-body medicine with cutting-edge conventional treatments to deliver comprehensive, patient-centered cancer care rooted in scientific evidence. Oncologists often face questions about nutrition, supplements, acupuncture, and lifestyle changes—areas conventional training may not fully address. IOWG provides a credible platform for exploring these topics, ensuring integrative approaches are scientifically grounded and complement conventional therapies. Since 2020, IOWG has grown from 10 members to a global network of over 2,600 healthcare professionals across 43 countries, including oncologists, primary care physicians, naturopathic oncology, and other specialists—all united by a commitment to advancing integrative oncology. Looking ahead, IOWG aims to be a trusted, leading hub for whole-person cancer care by integrating advancements in conventional oncology, innovative mind-body techniques, and emerging technologies such as digital tools and precision medicine. We are committed to exploring how novel diagnostics and transformative care models can enhance integrative oncology and improve patient outcomes. To date, IOWG has hosted over 70 free webinars, fostering education and collaboration among global healthcare professionals. We are excited to launch a beta test of our virtual community platform in a few months to connect members globally for collaboration, education, and resource sharing. Join us and help shape the future of a holistic integrative oncology by subscribing to our email list: https://iowg.myflodesk.com/joinemail.
