I get it. Teaching is tough... but it doesn't have to make you feel like you're drowning in a sea frustration, overwhelm and despair. (really.) Here’s the thing…your role as a teacher is changing. It might seem like the right thing to do is to carry on with your content teaching and prepping kids for the next test or quiz, but that just leads to you being a Worn Out Teacher. But it doesn’t have to be that way! There are things that you can do to prevent yourself from feeling worn out, or even worse, drained and burnt out wondering if you can continue do this job for another 5, 10 or 15 years. And it starts with understanding your role as a teacher in today’s classroom. It may seem like every day is a tough one... With students shutting down and acting up.? With lunch “breaks” that leave you even more harried and stressed out. It’s easy to consider throwing in the towel.? But if you had the right tools, the precise resources and the creative strategies to help your students with their social and emotional well-being, then YOU could find peace and positivity in your days again. "I want my classroom to be filled with conflict, isolation, and zero empathy." -Said no teacher ever. ?? However, here’s the reality ?? ?? Many classrooms struggle with students feeling disconnected, leading to cliques and conflicts. ?? Many teachers find themselves constantly mediating disputes and dealing with drama instead of teaching. ?? Many classrooms lack a sense of community, where students don't even know each other's names. ?? As a teacher, you entered this profession to inspire and nurture young minds… YET you’re stuck in the daily grind of managing behavioral issues and trying to build a positive classroom environment with limited time and resources. Struggling to create a harmonious classroom culture… Struggling to find effective ways to foster empathy and kindness among students… Struggling to carve out time for meaningful activities that build peer relationships… Struggling to keep students engaged and connected in a positive way. If that sounds like you, first off: you're not alone. After years of teaching and seeing these same struggles, I can attest: Many of my colleagues faced these challenges too. BUT it doesn’t have to stay that way. We’re putting a stop to that today. I’m introducing the Friendly Friday Framework minicourse, specifically for: ?? Teachers who want to build a caring and empathetic classroom culture ?? Teachers who are ready to foster strong peer relationships in just 20 minutes a week ?? Teachers who crave simple, effective strategies to create a harmonious learning environment If that sounds like what you’re after, then the Friendly Friday Framework is for you! Visit https://lnkd.in/ePDcpvTR, get started today, and watch your classroom transform into a haven of kindness and connection.

Are you sick of always having to follow a scripted curriculum?? As a teacher, you probably want some autonomy over the lessons you use in your own classroom. And yet, it seems like everything is scripted: math, literacy, science, even social-emotional learning! Now, I understand why schools invest in these scripted programs. They may even think they are doing you a favor... but, let's face it: relying solely on a boxed, scripted program is just not doing the trick. This is just ONE of the mistakes I tackle inside my FREE Class, How to Transform Your Classroom into a Place of Calm, Connection & Creativity. If you're like the many teachers I talk to, you're kind of sick of getting bogged down by program after program. You want to be creative in your classroom; make some decisions that make sense for your students and for you. That's why we have a system of infusing and integrating creative social-emotional strategies into your day. That just makes sense, right? You shouldn't have to read from a script to teach a kid about resilience. You should be equipped with strategies to help that kid develop those skills through classroom experiences. If you agree, awesome! Like this post. And if you want to learn more, comment "CLASS" and I'll get you the info that will transform your classroom. Or go to my link in bio.
