Generative AI is capable of amazing things. And, it raises questions about new social norms—In particular, how we collectively think about consent. THF's research in this area engaged 1100+ stakeholders and produced practical guidance on how to engage the next generation in the conversation. In particular, how do we proactively prevent harmful deepfakes (such as the recent incidents of deepfake nudes) in our communities and schools? Thanks to Julie Jargon at The Wall Street Journal for the coverage of our research on harmful deepfakes. And a huge thank you to our incredible team Rachel Moore Best, Kathleen Bond, Céline Pahl-Hiltl, Isabel Cordón E., Claudia Sachs, and our panel of contributors: we could not have done this without you. 关于我们
The Human Factor is a strategy firm focused on equipping organizations to negotiate the challenges of a changing world. We help visionary leaders navigate the complex task of building a better future. From negotiating agreement between groups with conflicting goals, breaking through the stalemate of “how it’s always been done,” to implementing organizational change for a more innovative, sustainable culture, The Human Factor exists to equip leaders to challenge the status quo. The Human Factor is not a traditional consultancy—we don’t take your challenges back to our lab and return with shiny solutions. As experienced consultants, we know that polished decks don’t change the world, incredible humans with the skills to get things done are the true driving force of innovation. That’s why The Human Factor partners with leaders to define strategy and build the internal skills to implement solutions for current business challenges. Grounded in research and extensive experience, The Human Factor supports strategic change with focused training in negotiation, influence, advocacy and conflict resolution for facing the challenge of change.

Happy International Women's Day from our team at The Human Factor! Every day we see the value of hearing from a diverse set of voices—it helps with idea generation, conflict mediation, and truly understanding the impacts (and consequences) of our initiatives. To kick off Women’s History Month, we joined the women of Google Cambridge to discuss the challenges women (and other underrepresented groups) can face when they challenge assumptions. Bias is a real factor—and sometimes, we get in our own way. Check out this snippet to hear a practical self-reflection that can help us cut through the noise and more effectively share our ideas and perspectives. Chi H. Tong, a heartfelt thank you to you and the women at Google for hosting Rachel and our team!

Sincerest thank you to the people of Franklin, Louisiana, and St. Mary Parish for hosting our team in their hometown last week. Our joint team was fortunate to engage with members of the Franklin and broader St. Mary Parish community – business owners, public works professionals, nonprofit leaders, educators, and more – as part of a larger, ongoing NASA CAS research effort to explore the successes and needs of rural communities across the United States. This site visit and on-the-ground stakeholder engagement would not have been possible without the support of the Town of Franklin! Thank you, Mayor Foulcard, Ed "Tiger" Verdin, and the entire Franklin team. Watch the full story here: https://lnkd.in/dnJTRrPY #SocialInnovation #CommunityImpact #StakeholderEngagement
