Announcing SOC 2 Compliance We recognize the critical importance of data security for both our organization and our customers, who rely on us to expedite their time-to-value for enterprise solutions. Accordingly, we are pleased to announce that the Hudson Center has achieved SOC 2 Type 1 compliance. What is SOC 2 compliance and why is it important? SOC 2 is part of the American Institute of CPAs' (AICPA) Service Organization Control (SOC) reporting framework, designed to ensure the security and privacy of customer data. It is based on five trust service principles: security, availability, processing integrity, confidentiality, and privacy. These principles provide a comprehensive framework for protecting data. SOC 2 is particularly relevant for technology service or SaaS companies that manage customer data in the cloud. It ensures that organizational controls and practices are in place to effectively safeguard customer data. Achieving SOC 2 Type 1 compliance involves an audit conducted by a licensed CPA firm, or an agency accredited by the AICPA. The audit and attestation confirms that the Hudson Center has implemented a robust system of controls, operations, and processes that align with established industry security standards. Securing SOC 2 compliance underscores our commitment to maintaining the highest standards of data privacy and security for our current and future clients.
