You are losing cannabinoid potency when you process flower. Not because it volitilizes like terpenes but because everywhere it touches... it leaves a little behind. This sample is straight out of the drying room at a water activity of 0.6182. Note how with this variety, the entire gland above the stipe cells comes off with the most gentle touch. You can actually see the stipe cells left behind as the resin and cuticle stick to the pin. Not all varieties have performed in this manner, some rupture from the cuticle. Perhaps the point of resin release and type of detachment is cultivar dependent. I'd bet the hash breeders would agree. Make sure to follow and stay tuned.
