Elliot = legend. Simple as that.
I've been dreading sharing this post. Hoping maybe if I don't hit 'send' I'll wake up from a bad dream. After three years working side-by-side with Elliot Beeson, the time has come for him to pursue a new opportunity. While it's only been 2 full days without him in the office, it's a bittersweet feeling. On one hand, I'm so excited for his new journey & all the great things he's going to accomplish. On the other hand, I'm going to miss our daily "hold hands and talk" meeting, the deep conversations we had about life, the way he was constantly recording himself & talking to the camera, and all the impeccable work that came from his bald head. I'm not ashamed to admit it: I love that dude. He's a remarkable human being. And without his efforts the past three years, TGC would not be what it is today. He was the heart & soul of the team, someone who knows how to lead from the front, and he never settled for greatness -- he always wanted & helped us deliver bigger & better. Not to mention, he's one of the most kind, empathetic, fun, compassionate people I've ever met. And while it's sad for me to see Elliot chase something new -- I can't help but share in his excitement for what lies ahead & all the great things he's going to accomplish. Thank you Elliot. and remember... once TGC, always TGC.

Had an incredible time at yesterday’s Commerce Catalyst Lunch & Learn, hosted by The Grounded Company, where I sat on a panel discussing the complexities of growing a brand across both retail and e-commerce. One of the best pieces of advice for founders? Find strong partners who truly understand and can help you navigate the nuances of retail, e-commerce P&Ls, and growth strategies. While e-commerce and retail operate on very different economic models, they must work together to fuel your brand’s success.
