I’ve been judging these awards for over a decade—starting back when they were PromaxBDA—and it’s always a treat to see the best in entertainment marketing from across the continent. Over the years, I’ve judged competitions around the world, and I’m always fascinated by the local nuances that make each market’s creativity unique. This year, the competition is fierce! Audiences appear to be less hyped for the NCAA's annual men's and women's collegiate basketball tournaments in 2025, finds survey firm YouGov. Compared to last year, when 40% of U.S. audiences said they planned to follow #MarchMadness, only 31% of Americans polled said the same this year and only 19% said they plan to fill out a bracket. Of those, half are doing it for the chance to win money. ?
