We were recently reintroduced to a teaching from the gospels that says, “You are the light of the world. A city set on a hill cannot be hidden.” At The Foundry, we believe in the transformative power of light shining in every corner of our communities. Our mission is to equip business owners to bless their employees and customers, creating ripple effects that impact the culture of their local communities. When leaders integrate their faith into their work and lead with intention, they become the light in their industries, neighborhoods, and beyond. The Foundry is more than just a program; it’s a community helping the community. Through mentorship, practical business tools, and shared wisdom, we empower business owners to lead with excellence, serve with love, and influence others to do the same. Together, we see businesses flourish, employees thrive, and communities transformed. Find out more about our community at www.thefoundryaustin.com

The Power of Community in Small Business: Running a small business can feel like walking a tightrope. The challenges may differ in detail, but the weight of leadership, the demands of growth, and the desire to make an impact are universal. That’s why community is at the heart of what we do at The Foundry. It’s a space where business owners from different industries come together, united by shared experiences and a shared faith, to walk the road of entrepreneurship together. One of our incredible advisors, Stacie Feller, President of Kanga Roof in Round Rock, put it best: "The Foundry provides a sense of community for small business owners. Regardless of the industry, all small businesses go through many of the same challenges. Having Christian brothers and sisters to go alongside you is invaluable." We’re so grateful to have leaders like her, who bring both business expertise and practical faith to our community. Her work with Kanga Roof is a testament to the power of values-driven leadership. At The Foundry, we believe no business owner should have to navigate this journey alone. The challenges are real—but so is the strength found in a supportive, mission-driven community. Are you looking for a space where you can grow, connect, and find the guidance you need to thrive? Let’s talk. www.thefoundryaustin.com #TheFoundry #SmallBusinessCommunity #FaithDrivenLeadership #Entrepreneurship #AustinBusiness

Meet Jimmy Yen (https://lnkd.in/ggc_7UjF), and hear his story as an owner in Cohort 2 of the Foundry. “I own Achieve Integrative Health, an Acupuncture & Wellness Clinic in Cedar Park, TX. Under God’s blessing, we have become one of the largest Acupuncture clinics in the Austin Metro and are the #1 rated Acupuncture Clinic in the United States, with over 720 five-star Google reviews. Our mission is to help people restore their body’s God-given ability to heal itself, allowing them to do the things they love. We specialize in helping people with neurological conditions, chronic pain, female health and fertility, supportive cancer care, autoimmune conditions, and metabolic conditions. Before joining The Foundry, the main challenge we faced was not knowing how to integrate our faith into our business and team culture. I had been part of many business communities, but they were all focused on money first and people second, which never sat well with me as a believer. The Foundry was different. It was focused on people first and helped faith-driven entrepreneurs integrate their faith into their business, team, and work—something I was missing. Being part of The Foundry has taught me that I can put God first in my business. It’s changed the way I track KPIs and lead my team. Instead of just focusing on profitability, I now prioritize the Triple Bottom Line: building God’s Kingdom, blessing our team members, patients, and vendors, and ensuring profitability to support the first two. As a result, we’ve built a reputation for five-star service and results, with patients flying in from across the U.S. to be treated by our team. When I joined The Foundry, my goal was to scale my business to 2,000 clinics to elevate my profession and expand my QRA Acupuncture system globally. But through fellowship with other faith-driven entrepreneurs at The Foundry, I grew spiritually and realized this was not God’s plan for me. Instead, God led me to build something that would serve not only the modern world but also communities in the 10-40 window, where access to the gospel and healthcare is limited. Through The Foundry’s network, I found believers with experience in tech and consumer goods to partner with me on this journey, giving me peace about the drastic pivot in my business plan. The Foundry’s unique focus on God first, people second, and profit last sets it apart from every other business community I’ve been a part of, where profit always came first and people were dispensable.” Come join our community at www.thefoundryaustin.com.

Meet Joe Elliott (https://lnkd.in/gAJ6cNwm), an owner in Cohort 2 of the Foundry. Joe operates the Catalyst Collective (https://www.purposepro.org/) and, along with his wife, operates an event center (https://lnkd.in/gDWgg-u4). Here is what Joe has to say about the Foundry: "I’ve spent years mentoring teenagers and training others to mentor, but before joining The Foundry, I never really understood what a business mentor was. I’ve had plenty of personal, emotional, and spiritual support, but no one has ever given me the kind of insight I’ve received from the business mentors at The Foundry. That’s been life-changing for me! They’ve helped me think strategically about both my nonprofit and my for-profit business in ways I hadn’t considered before. The Foundry’s community has also been an incredible source of support. Through the connections I’ve made here, I’ve found new board members for my nonprofit, new business partners, donors, and even investors. I’ve shared this with others before, and I’ll say it again: if you’re a business owner looking to grow, joining The Foundry is a no-brainer." Come join our community at www.thefoundryaustin.com.
