Does growth and making more money go hand in hand? I mean if we grow our business - we do more - we make more money right? And if we make more money - we get more money right? There are two fundamental numbers a business lives and dies on - cashflow (I think is number one) and profitability (feeds back into cashflow). I learned this the hard way - the importance of cash in a business to sustain it now and the importance of profitability to sustain and aid succcess into the future. Three fundamentals: 1. Growth costs money 2. We need to know why growth is important 3. It is imperative we have the leadership we need to properly manage growth. … there are many more. Growth is good - it can equal more money - but make sure it is profitable growth - not just growth for the sake of it. I would love to hear from you - what is your view on growth?
