Most ATSs show applicants in the order they apply. You're more likely to get interviews when you're early. Here's how to beat the crowd. This is one of the most legitimate hacks I've seen in a while. You'll be editing a LinkedIn URL in order to change how filtered jobs are displayed. Here's what you need to do: 1. Go to LinkedIn, Search for Jobs 2. Filter for ‘Date Posted’, select ‘last 24 hours’ 3. In the URL, replace 86400 with 3600, hit enter - 86400 represents the number of seconds in 24 hrs - 3600 is the number of seconds in 1 hr 4. Results are filtered for jobs posted in the last hour 5. Apply before others do AST systems are typically customized by the companies that build/buy them - but applying early to most requisitions will almost always give you an advantage. In a crowded job market, applications can flood in fast, especially for larger, more visible companies. Using this method can help you eliminate the risk that your application is buried - making the use of your time more effective. Let me know what you think of this hack. ?? Repost to help others get more jobs! Have a great weekend y'all. - - - FYI - I did not invent this method. I originally saw it on 'r/jobsearchhacks' - but I've also seen it on LinkedIn and TikTok a few times. If you know who to credit let me know!

??Connection Sunday!!!! Drop in the comments! A friend was recently laid off. I’ve been making intros for her. Her: You really need a business for this. Me: What do you mean? Her: You, introducing me to job opportunities. Me: Umm that is called a recruiter. Yes friends, there is indeed a job for this! There are recruiters whose entire job is connecting candidates with hiring managers! Recruiting aside... I am a connector. This is literally how I got the name The Fairy Job Mom. I just can't help myself if I think two people need to know each other. The greatest gift you can give a jobseeker right now is a warm introduction - this job market is crazy town.? And who doesn’t like playing a small part in someone’s career journey?? ??????If you know of any open roles, or you are a recruiter looking for candidates, please drop them in the comments!!? Let’s connect some folks to opportunities! #hiring #recruiting #jobseekers #gethired #talent

5 Things I’d never do as a company founder on LinkedIn: (save this post) 1. Just repost corporate content my marketing team made for the company account. 2. Comment on people’s posts with 1-2 word answers. “Nice” “great post” “good job”. 3. Reject all connection requests from people I don’t know in real life. 4. Never post photos of myself. 5. NOT POST AT ALL. Y’all LinkedIn is a literal gold mine if you are the founder of a company, an entrepreneur, shoot even a side hustler. → Create personal content. → Connect with people you don’t know, but want to know! → Share your experiences and learnings. → Talk about the problems you solve. → Share photos so that people know you’re human. → Engage thoughtfully in the comments (they are $$$) You’ve got this - YOU are your brand! #linkedin #founders #entrepreneurs #growth #branding ____________ And if you need help with any of this - that’s what I do.? ??DM me to talk Ghostwriting or LinkedIn strategy.

Branding isn’t just about logos or colors. It’s about your actual product. Growing up in SF, Peet's Coffee was one of many choices for coffee. Moved to Boise and it no longer is. So when I get to enjoy a delicious cup… yes please!!!! Is it better than Starbucks? IMO YES! But which is the bigger brand? We all know. Anyway, find your raving fans and let them evangelize for you. Next time you see a Peet’s… hope you’ll think of this post and grab a cup. And bonus: Little Words Project stack of the week.

Are you embarrassed about your resume? I cringed with mine for years. The story mine tells isn’t linear career growth. I’ve had roles in: → Hospitality? → Sales? → Marketing? → Partnerships → Customer Service? → Talent It is a tale of someone who likes to and can do a lot of things.? The advice that I see very often is: niche down and specialize. Instead, I challenge you to: Begin with the end in mind.? ?What job do you want? The most important thing your resume needs to do is tell a story of how where you’ve been, supports where you want to go…with data if at all possible! If your career hasn’t been linear, think about every single skill that you have that is required for the role you want. Leverage examples of how you’ve made an impact using those skills. It’s time to create a narrative that makes you an ideal candidate, and to learn how to present your varied experience in a way that makes sense to the hiring powers that be! ?? If you need help with this - it’s part of my Eternally Employable Express program for The Fairy Job Mom.? Favikon AI identified me as the number 1 Puerto Rican creator. ?? Wild!!! It feels good to be part of the community that is my roots. ???????? (For those who don’t know it, the last name “Rivera” in Puerto Rico is the equivalent of “Smith” in the USA) To say I was shocked is an understatement. But alongside the surprise is happiness. You just never know what’s possible! I had a chance to meet Jeremy Boissinot, the founder of Favikon last week, and I asked him to look up my ranking. We both were surprised! Surprised together.?? I did ask him to move me back to the US, but I want to take this moment to celebrate my Boriqua roots and the fact that for what it’s worth, I earned the gold on la isla! ?????? Shout out to all of my Latinx community here in the States, and all of the proud Puerto Ricans who’ve read my content. What a way to start the week! If you have a fave Latinx creator please drop their name in the comments!! ?? #community #linkedin #creator #bigwin #gratitude

I remember being scared to start a business. 2 years ago I was miserably employed. It got to the point where my husband told me to quit because my stress was affecting our family. Quit a job making nearly $200k? ? Absolutely not. But what I did do was hire a coach. Someone who helped me gain the confidence to start a side hustle. This side hustle is now my full time job… unintentionally. Because guess what happened? ??I started my business and a week later, I got fired.?? Guess what else happened? ? I got set free to pursue what set my soul on fire. ? I got set free to focus 100% of my attention on building my business. ? I got set free because I was not meant to be there anymore. And most importantly, the decision to leave was made for me because I was too afraid to remove the golden handcuffs of “stability”. Have the last 2 years been easy? Heck no. Heck heck heck no. But do I regret building a business? Also heck no x100000. ? I’ve learned more than I could ever imagine in the last 2 years. ? I’m on track to earn more this year than I made at my miserable former job. And I’m 84847484947484x happier for it. I share this for the folks who are me 2 years ago. ? If you’re scared, it’s normal. ? If you’re worried about replacing income, you’re pragmatic. ? If you know that building something of your own is the only way to control your destiny… You’re smart.?? And so I ask you: If not now, then when? I’ve recently started offering strategy sessions for folks just getting started building their brand & businesses. Learn from my mistakes instead of making them yourself. DM me for more info.
