We had an adorable Halloween at the Excel Center! ???? Our little ghouls and goblins enjoyed early trick-or-treating in their cutest costumes! Even our staff got in on the fun!

This past Saturday, Goodwill cohosted a block party to showcase the various partners, programs and services available for the West Louisville community at the Norton Healthcare Goodwill Opportunity Campus. More than 2,000 people attended the event and learned about all the positive initiatives, including our Excel Center! We at Goodwill are grateful to have hundreds of partners to collaborate with and benefit from. Without their support, we wouldn’t be able to fulfill our mission! #MissionMonday

Yesterday, we held a Taste of Cultural Cuisine in celebration of Hispanic Heritage Month! Students got to taste a bit of the culture and learn about it, too. ??

Nicole, an Excel Center student and Goodwill employee, earned a Chromebook through the Applied Digital Skills program at Goodwill Industries of Kentucky's West Louisville Opportunity Center! Excel students can reach out to any Opportunity Center to learn more about this program. ??

We want to give a shoutout to Maria, who completed her training as a Peer Support Specialist! This training prepares participants to support those who struggle with mental health, psychological trauma and/or substance use. Congratulations, Maria! ??

Last week, we celebrated the end of Term 1 at the South Louisville Opportunity Center right across the parking lot! We recognized our graduating seniors. ??

At the end of each term, our seniors put their interview skills to the test during mock interviews. Last week, they knocked them out of the park! Way to go, seniors!
