??Spotlight on SWSIE team: WhereAir ?? We're proud to highlight WhereAir from Arizona State University as a shining example of collaboration between the NSF Engines: Southwest Sustainability Innovation Engine (SWSIE) and The Builder Platform! ?? WhereAir is tackling Arizona’s water security with groundbreaking Atmospheric Water Harvesting (AWH) technology. Their portable AWH system addresses the challenges supported by Global Center for Water Technology (GCWT) and the SWSIE Engine and is designed to generate new water sources and address thermal challenges in water technologies. As participants in The Engine's Blueprint and Blueprint+ programs, WhereAir developed a clear pathway to transform their research into market-ready solutions. They built a business model, mapped timelines, and identified critical investments needed to scale their technology from the lab to meet real-world consumer needs. Next steps? The team is refining their prototype to meet market targets and joining the NSF-iCorps program to further bridge the gap between lab innovation and customer-ready products. ?? Through The Builder Platform –a post-award network led by The Engine that provides resources and expertise to NSF Engines-teams like WhereAir gain access to resources, programs, and expert networks designed to propel their ideas forward and transform their region. Best of luck to WhereAir as they continue to tackle water security challenges in Arizona and beyond. ?? Stay tuned for more success stories as the National Science Foundation (NSF) Engines and The Builder Platform empower transformative change! #Innovation #Entrepreneurship #NSFEngines #Collaboration #SWSIE Gokul Chandrasekaran Shubham Shrivastava Mona Rafat Abigail Qiu Pat Phelan Shahnawaz Sinha
