You may be familiar with the concept of “dropping in” in a studio setting, meaning: come in, try something new, and see if you like it. In movement classes, you’ll hear cues to “drop into” your body or “drop into” your breath. It's also a term we use often with friends: "You'll be in town for the weekend? Make sure you drop in and say hi." We chose The Drop In as our name because of these multifaceted meanings. It’s more than a place for you to go. It's a catalyst; it’s an adventure; it’s a home. It’s where community, connection, and curiosity combine. Drop in and join us.

THE NEXT DROP??AUSTIN, TX Research shows that the longest-living and most joyful people in the world share one common trait: a sense of community. So that's exactly what we've set out to build more of. Join founders Gillian Zettler and Chandler Frisbie May 15-19 at the eclectic and elegant Hotel Saint Cecilia, where bikes, mats, music, and nature will collide for a five-day immersive retreat experience. It's our first stop, but it certainly won't be our last. We'd love for you to drop in and join us. Bookings are now live at https://www.thedropin.com/

We're still feeling all the feels from our first drop. Happier Hours came about as a way to bring people together in community, to move and be moved, as a kind of antidote to the darker and more isolating days of the winter season–and we hope it lifted your spirits as it did ours. The first edition included an extraordinary performance from Mary Lambert, followed by a communal and cathartic dance and movement experience from FORWARD__Space, Kristin Sudeikis, and Rachel Warren. These shared experiences were infused with bravery, community, laughter, teachings (and perhaps even a little bit of fear?), for a magical night we won’t ever forget. ?? Perry McLeod
