The Fab Lab recently collaborated with Ball State Indiana Public Radio to complete their first large-scale client project. IPR recently launched a new station called 89.5 The Note.? The beginning of this classical music station called for a celebration and some large signs that the Fab Lab was happy to create and provide! Check out these event pics to see these signs in action.?

WOW! Our Fab Lab Open House was a success!? We had a blast educating everyone on our new space and sharing how the Ball State community can take advantage of this space. We could say so many words to express our excitement for our event, but we will let these pictures do the talking. Check them out!??

One of the Digital Corps values is “Being the best and striving to be the best.” We couldn’t think of a sentence that represents these three students and the presentation they recently gave at the 2024 Assessment Institute in Indianapolis.? Digital Corps Masters Saige Chandler, Laura Latham and Hailey Vrolyk spent weeks preparing for this presentation and absolutely hit it out of the park when the day arrived. They educated their audience on what the Corps is, how it works and the benefits it has on students and Ball State as a whole.? Sharing what we do at the Corps with other IT and higher ed professionals is vital, and these three did a fantastic job!??

Ball State University's Center for Emerging Media Design & Development hosted a panel and networking event with Pattern, a nonprofit organization that supports the growth of the creative economy in Indianapolis. While many Ball State students were invited to join and participate, select students from the Digital Corps were encouraged to attend due to their similar interests and skills valued by the organization. Our students participated in a Q&A session with Pattern's employees, followed by the opportunity to continue networking over pizza in Ball State’s Unified Media Lab. One of our core values at the Corps is preparing students for the workforce, and visits from professional organizations like Pattern offer valuable insights into what post-graduate life may look like for our students.?
