The Diabetes Link is a national nonprofit organization that specializes in helping teens and young adults navigate their diabetes among an ever-changing and fast-paced world. And while WHAT we do is important (Peer support! Expert resources! and more!), it's WHO we are that matters most. We were originally founded in 2009 as the College Diabetes Network, by a college student named Christina Roth. She felt isolated with her type 1 diabetes.

Effectiveness: The study confirms inhaled insulin is as effective as usual care (primarily automated insulin delivery pumps or multiple daily injections) for adults with T1D, meeting the primary endpoint. ? A1c Targets: 30% of participants using inhaled insulin achieved A1c <7%, compared to 17% with usual care. ?? Time-In-Range (TIR): 24% of inhaled insulin users achieved TIR above 70%, compared to 13% with usual care—with no increased risk of hypoglycemia. ??
