The Dairy Alliance is proud to partner with the Virginia State Dairymen's Association (VSDA), Maola Local Dairies, and the Federation of Virginia Food Banks for the Milk For Good program at the Virginia State Fair. This initiative, supported by local dairy farm families, provides fresh, nutritious dairy milk to families in need across Virginia. Attendees at the fair can contribute by purchasing milk outside the Meadow Event Pavilion. Proceeds benefit local food pantries and dairy industry scholarships. Milk is one of the most requested yet least donated items to food banks. Let's work together to change that. Every purchase and every donation makes a real impact. The Dairy Alliance is making a big impact in Southeast schools! We've reached over 300,000 students across eight states with our Dairy Optimization (DO), Fuel Up, and GENYOUth grants. These initiatives improve the school milk experience and boost dairy consumption through programs like Moo Brew, Smoothies, and Milk Dispensers. This year, we awarded 120 DO grants and 157 Fuel Up and GENYOUth grants, benefiting over 100,000 students. Our nutritionists are also providing training and resources to maximize these programs' effectiveness.
