This Safer Internet Day, take control of your online security. Social media accounts are easy targets for cybercriminals, so whether your account has been hacked, or you want to better prevent it from happening, you should follow these steps: ? Use strong, unique passwords. Ideally a mixture of letters, numbers, and symbols that do not include easily identifiable information. ? Turn on two-factor authentication (2FA). This will add an extra layer of security to your accounts. ? Change your login details on other sites that use the same - or similar - usernames/passwords. Every login should be unique. ? Report any unauthorised access to the social media provider. ?? For more information, check out our guides to help you stay vigilant online: https://lnkd.in/eKNcHKXF

Late last year, SecurIT360 and our incredible US sponsors got together for a golf tournament and helped raise over $10,000 for The Cyber Helpline! Their unwavering commitment has enabled us to continue supporting cybercrime victims across the States, but our work doesn't stop here. We're kicking off the New Year by inviting YOU to join us for our upcoming tournament in 2025. This is your chance to help us drive change on and off the course, meet some likeminded people, and have fun whilst doing it. ??♂? ?
