Since 2018, Recho Omondi, creator of the fashion interview show The Cutting Room Floor , has paved a way all her own in podcasting—full episodes? Not unless you pay a subscription. Video? Not until last year. She’s established her rate, proven her value—and built her audience. Omondi shared with us some hot content takes that (due to word count limitations) were left on our cutting room floor: ??? On finding interview talent → “The rubric really has to do with a balance of expertise and storytelling. There has to be some form of credentials there. It’s the kind of person who Vogue would work with all the time, but who Vogue would never do a story on.” ??
