??? 1,806 ways to carry hope! ??? Thanks to the generosity of our community, our WDIV Local 4 News/ClickOnDetroit Go 4 It: Carrying Hope donation drive was a tremendous success! Together, we collected 1,806 suitcases, duffle bags, backpacks, and totes—each one a symbol of dignity, security, and hope for children in foster care. A heartfelt thank you to everyone who donated, shared, and supported this effort. Your kindness and commitment are making a real difference in the lives of the children and families we serve. ??

Our Real-Life Learning Program is growing—and so are the kids in it! Last time, this young participant learned to make mac and cheese. Now, he’s taken on an even bigger challenge: baking brownies from scratch! ?? From measuring and mixing to cutting and cleaning up, he embraced each step, gaining valuable life skills and confidence along the way. Programs like this go beyond the kitchen—they empower kids with independence and prepare them for real-life success. We’re excited to see the impact continue! Let’s keep building brighter futures together. ??

Thanks to your generous support, we have recently received an influx of donations and are working to sort these in preparation for spring. Our boutique is still open for families to shop during this period. We will begin accepting clothing donations back on April 7th.
