With our Provincial HQ and numerous ministries based in Detroit, including the Capuchin Soup Kitchen, we extend a heartfelt welcome to our new shepherd in the Archdiocese of Detroit, Archbishop-Elect Edward J. Weisenburger. We pray for him as he begins his ministry in the Motor City, and we give thanks and offer prayers to Archbishop Emeritus Allen H. Vigneron for his steadfast ministry.

A joy-filled day in Mt. Calvary, Wisconsin today as we celebrated the ordination of our brother Baudry Metangmo, OFM Cap to the priesthood! The Most Rev. Jerome Feudjio, Bishop of the U.S. Virgin Islands, presided, with Provincial Minister Br. Mark Joseph Costello, OFM Cap. concelebrating. Music ministry was offered courtesy of the gifted student-musicians at St. Lawrence Seminary High School. Newly-ordained Fr. Baudry will continue his ongoing ministry with the students and faculty at St. Lawrence Seminary. It was a spectacular evening at the Questors Club on Friday! The Capuchins hosted the 2nd Annual Questors Club at the Capuchin Center in Milwaukee. The evening consisted of a delicious supper-club style dinner, live and silent auctions, a competitive game of heads and tails, plus plenty of fellowship and fun!
