TBN Express has finally graduated from California only and gone nationwide with instantly confirmed appointments with vetted notaries and witnesses in all major metros! Our signature location tracking ensures everyone arrives on time and our clients never have to wonder "Where is my notary?" for those "do-or-die" type of signings. We are kicking off with a $199 flat rate to book an appointment instantly with at least 24 hours of notice. Printing, scanning and return shipping are extra as needed. What began as a conversation at the WealthCounsel, LLC Symposium last September is now a reality after pilots in 11 states. When estate planning attorney Paul Black approached us and said he wouldn't give up the notary role as an elder law attorney but that he would pay for two witnesses to accompany him and sign self-proving affidavits. This means his associate and paralegal could stay in the office when he went to visit his elderly client. So began the idea that became Witnessondemand.com. Because letting go of the document preparation and binder assembly can be a stretch, we came up with TBN Express to help attorneys like Rosanna S. and Caitlin Ashton easily support clients who are outside their local office area without any changes to their core document production process. In the early days, we tried to boil the ocean and serve up notaries to anyone who would pay us. Now we are niching down and focusing on estate planning attorneys, wealth managers and family law attorneys (This is our "Black Car" experience) to fund our freemium notary and witness-on-demand platform which is also a social enterprise that creates meaningful work for well-meaning folks at the margins of our drastically inequitable labor force. Its been a wild ride and continues to be, but as every founder knows, we are blessed with the curse of seeing clearly what is still fuzzy to most. The devil is in the execution, not just the details.
