The Bellwether District

The Bellwether District proudly partnered with The Salvation Army Greater Philadelphia to make this Thanksgiving brighter for families in need. Through the annual Turkey Drive and Thanksgiving meal, we joined forces with local volunteers to help ensure our neighbors could enjoy the holiday with warmth and gratitude. We’re honored to support such meaningful work in the community we call home.

We recently hosted a group of inspiring women from Women in Nontraditional Careers (WINC) at The Bellwether District! WINC participants toured our site and joined a panel discussion with some of the talented women who are helping to shape Philadelphia's future. We're proud to support programs like WINC that pave the way for more women to lead in construction careers. #WomenBuild?

Today, we were honored to host the Office of Governor Josh Shapiro at The Bellwether District as he signed an Executive Order launching the Pennsylvania Permit Fast Track Program! This initiative will streamline the permitting process for major economic development and infrastructure projects, ensuring Pennsylvania is competitive and moving at the speed of business. ? HRP Group CEO Roberto Eduardo Perez Jr spoke about the importance of efficient permitting to drive innovation and create opportunities in communities like ours. With a focus on transparency and accelerated timelines, the Fast Track program will empower projects like The Bellwether District to deliver sustainable growth and long-term benefits to our region and beyond. ? We’re proud to support initiatives that simplify processes, drive investment, and build stronger communities. Together, we’re shaping a brighter future for Pennsylvania.

The Salvation Army Central Corps of Philadelphia, The Bellwether District and Resident Action Committee II are facilitating a Thanksgiving meal for?our neighbors in Philadelphia. On Thursday November 21st, The Salvation Army will be hosting a community dinner for all who sign up to come enjoy time with?neighbors before picking up a turkey meal kit for their own Thanksgiving dinners. We are excited to announce our involvement in Urban Evolution: Our Future Cities produced by ITN Business, which premiered this week at the 2024 Net Zero Festival in London.
