?? Key players have officially kicked off efforts to update the Comprehensive Conservation Management Plan (CCMP) for the Lake Pontchartrain Basin! This plan will drive restoration and preservation efforts across the region. Work groups focusing on water quality, habitat, land use, and community resilience are now in action, bringing together experts and diverse perspectives to address today’s most pressing issues. This revision is funded through the Pontchartrain Basin Restoration Program by the U.S. EPA, ensuring that our updated CCMP is ready to tackle the basin’s current challenges.
