TBGA recently hosted the Air Force Research Laboratory QUASAR (Qualification of Additive Structures for Aerospace Requirements) program at the Wright Brother’s Institute in Dayton, with nearly 50 SME's from government, academia, major OEM’s, and parts and machine manufacturers attending. With a career spanning 42 years, Mark's most recent role as Chief Technologist at GKN Aerospace focused on the industrialization of DED technologies, specializing in titanium laser wire DED. Marshall has packed a huge amount of AM experience in his much shorter career, starting with internships with several AM companies while studying aerospace engineering at The University of Texas at Austin and eventually landing at Stratasys where he built and led teams in process engineering, materials development and emerging technologies.
