Last week, The Autism Project joined the National Association for the Education of Young Children (NAEYC) conference in Anaheim, California as proud exhibitors, sharing valuable #neurodivergent resources with educators and parents. We introduced 'A Starting Point', our new asynchronous training platform designed for #educators and related professionals. This series stands out by including perspectives from autistic advocates who share proactive strategies that have supported them throughout life, alongside insights from parents, educators, and professionals. Literally rolled up my sleeves this week to volunteer! The Autism Project (TAP) delivered a canvas with a mural designed by Riverzedge students to be painted by #citizenscolleagues at our Westwood office. The completed mural will be displayed at TAP's summer camp. Such a truly beautiful way to give back to a wonderful organization whose mission is to connect people - with a spectrum of needs - to the available resources and education that support independent and purposeful lives! #volunteer #citizenshelpingcitizens
