Most people think they need to hire a lawyer to get a divorce. Erin Levine, CEO & Co-Founder of Hello Divorce, is working on overcoming this deeply rooted belief- and building trust in the idea that an online divorce can work. With 15 years of experience practicing law, Erin witnessed firsthand how the system was stacked against individuals—prolonging conflict, escalating costs, and creating unnecessary hurdles. Divorce cases become longer and messier because lawyers charge by the hour, leaving clients stuck in a cycle that drains both their finances and emotional well-being. Erin’s journey as a founder is a story of using technology and innovation to create meaningful change in an industry resistant to it. By challenging the status quo and providing a service that makes divorce less stressful and more affordable, she is helping reshape how people think about ending a marriage—and proving that opting out of the traditional system is not just possible, but often, a better choice. You can learn more about Erin and Hello Divorce on a recent episode of How I Built This with Guy Raz, linked in the comments. Plus, you'll find the why behind our investment to disrupt the state of divorce linked there too. #divorcesupport #caretech

I'm delighted to share my latest Forbes article, featuring the inspiring story of The Artemis Fund , a women-led VC firm that closed its $36 million second fund—at more than double the amount of its first fund. Stephanie Campbell and Diana Murakhovskaya shared how Artemis defied the odds in a challenging VC landscape, raising money from an impressive list of institutional investors proving that investing in female- and minority-founded tech companies isn't just impactful—it's smart business. Their portfolio companies from the first fund have raised $250 million in follow-on funding, a testament to Stephanie and Diana’s keen eye for identifying promising ventures. The article delves into Artemis's journey, its approach to supporting female founders, and the critical role of initiatives like State Small Business Credit Initiative (SSBCI) and its Initiative for Inclusive Entrepreneurship (IIE) in fostering a more inclusive VC ecosystem. If you're an accredited investor and want to learn about this asset class, Stephanie and Diana are happy to educate you. The Artemis team recently came together for a wellness break! We kicked things off with a challenging bootcamp (we're talking a frisbee warm up and cool down that kept our minds working too, and something called rucking that was previously a foreign concept to us). Afterward, we enjoyed a healthy sushi dinner and ended the day with a calming yoga session led by our very own resident yogi, Juliette. It was the perfect way to recharge, bond as a team, and refuel. We can’t wait for the next one ?? ?? cc: Leigh Harris, Diana Murakhovskaya, Juliette Richert, + Adrienne Mangual
