Composed of acquired marketing, media, and communications agencies, Acceleration Community of Companies (ACC) was created in May 2018 by 30-year marketing and communications industry expert and operator Michael Nyman with the intent to guide and advise clients to move quickly and more efficiently with their branding, marketing, and media decisions. ACC has developed a new go-to-market business approach with a series of strategic and complementary acquisitions. Acceleration's unique community of specialized firms helps clients move quickly and efficiently with their branding, marketing, and media decisions and actions, by ensuring all agencies are tech-enabled, with data and analytics utilization linking them all together and driving maximum results for their clients. As many of you know, I began my career in public relations, driven by a passion for crafting innovative, entertaining and impactful narratives that celebrate the big moments and influential personalities shaping our culture. In 1990, I co-founded Bragman Nyman Cafarelli (BNC) with Howard Bragman and Brad Cafarelli. A decade later, we sold our company to IPG.? Howard went on to become the legend he was destined to be, while Brad, Chris Robichaud, Monica Chun, Scott Floyd, Rick Faigin and I continued to build the firm, before our historic merger with Cindi Berger and PMK in December of 2009. During the following years PMK*BNC, grew to record revenues, becoming the largest firm of its kind in the world, and set the tone for entertainment, culture, brand marketing and communications. After closely listening to clients' needs, and studying the evolving marketing and advertising landscape, I launched Acceleration Community of Companies (ACC) in 2018. My vision was to create a forward-thinking alternative to the traditional holding company model, one built for the future. Collaboration would be central, with the? only deference given to clients rather than the largest agency in the holdco.? The goal was to bring best-in-class marketing agencies, to offer the comprehensive 360-degree suite of services essential in today’s fast-paced multi-channel world. Today, I am thrilled to share a full-circle moment in my career. ACC is acquiring the iconic DKC, one of the top 10 independent PR agencies in the U.S. and a legendary brand in its own right. This marks the sixth acquisition for ACC and significant milestone in our journey to?become a?leader in paid, earned, shared,?owned communications?and marketing solutions. DKC represents? top global brands across technology, entertainment - including some of the world’s highest-grossing and most critically acclaimed artists - media, lifestyle, sports, healthcare and more.
