Her blog is at: https://lnkd.in/g4-ZbiGW After surviving a malignant brain tumor diagnosis that came with a grand mal seizure, brain surgery, and years of recovery, I’m thrilled to share a new chapter. It’s been a journey of rebuilding—learning to walk, talk, and even finding confidence again. For years, I couldn’t imagine getting my life back, let alone a career. After years of medical retirement, I stepped into a full-time role with the ABTA 1.5 years ago. ?? The ABTA has been my home and my hope throughout my journey—and I’m thrilled to deepen our impact by connecting and building support throughout #California and the Western States. From my very first BT5K to the many inspiring volunteer roles, this journey has helped me find strength, passion, and a renewed sense of self. Now, as an official part of the ABTA team, I get to make an even bigger difference for our brain tumor community, standing side-by-side with those who share this path. ????
