Help us give a warm welcome to Dr. Donnelly, our new Woman's Group provider based out of our Lutz office! Here is a bit of her background: ? Born in Atlanta and raised in Tampa, Florida. ? Attended the University of Florida where she received a Bachelor of Health Science in 2016. ? Received a Doctor of Medicine degree from Florida State University in 2020. ? Completed residency training at the University of Florida, Pensacola in 2024. ? She has a focus in well woman care, high risk obstetrics and non-invasive gynecologic surgery, including use of the DaVinci Robotic system. ? She is very happy to return home to Tampa, where she enjoys spending time with four generations of her family who all reside in the city. We are thrilled to have her join the TWG family!

Born in San Diego, California and grew up in Apollo Beach, Florida ? Attended William Carey University College of Osteopathic Medicine, where she earned an MS in Biomedical Science and later received her Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine degree from the same institution ? Completed residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at Henry Ford Macomb Hospital in Clinton Township, MI ? Specializes in obstetrics, minimally invasive gynecologic surgery, including Da Vinci Robotic surgery ? Fluent in English and Spanish ? Enjoys running with her dog, going to the beach, and traveling with her family Welcome Dr. Mozzicato! We're thrilled to have you on the team.

Here's a bit of Dr. Comas Vargas' background: ? Born in Mayagüez, Puerto Rico ? Received Doctor of Medicine degree from Ponce Health Sciences University in Puerto Rico and completed residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at St. Francis Hospital and Medical Center in Hartford, CT ? Elected academic chief resident during her last year of residency ? Active in the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists (ACOG), where she served as District I Connecticut section Junior Fellow Vice Chair (2022-2023), and Junior Fellow Chair (2023-2024) ? Awarded Outstanding Minimally Invasive Surgery Resident by the Society of Laparoscopic and Robotic Surgeons, and Excellence in Urogynecology by the American Urogynecologic Society in 2024 ? Fluent in English and Spanish ? Enjoys traveling, going to the beach, and staying active! We cannot wait to see her grow and build strong relationships with our patients and team!

Society can’t move forward without both.” – Eva Marie Lewis Shout out to our trailblaizing physician, Eva Crooke, MD, FACOG, for being an activist and voice for change in the healthcare field. Recently, she went to lobby in Tallahassee during a session with a group of other physicians from the Hillsborough Country Medical association. Dr. Crooke has been recognized for her contributions to the medical field and served as the 119th President of the HCMA. She received the prestigious Tampa Magazine Top Doc Awards in 2017 and 2019, acknowledging her expertise and dedication to patient care. Dr. Crooke remains involved in organized medicine at the local, state, and national levels while also dedicating her free time volunteering at a local clinic.

February is an important month for Women in Medicine. Last week, we honored 'Women Physicians Day' on February 3, and this week, we're paying tribute to our female doctors that are part of the Black community. Shout out to our outstanding physicians, Sharon Stewart and Dr. Gourgue. They are a perfect embodiment of our mission and values, and we are lucky to have providers like them on our team.
