A program to end the cycle of #homelessness in #LosAngelesCounty is definitely showing success in local communities. The Pathway Home effort focuses on the desired result - securing a permanent home for our neighbors. The effort, however, requires collaboration, wraparound services to get someone back on their feet and healthy, and locking in housing with willing landlords and rental vouchers. https://lnkd.in/gTyZDP-3

One significant aspect of the #homelessness crisis in #LosAngeles is the number of unsheltered people with #mentalhealth issues. Our client, the LA County Department of Mental Health, has a groundbreaking, successful approach that is changing thousands of lives for the better. We gave this reporter (and photographer) incredible access to follow the HOME teams and their patients to show the public the process and the lengths that are required to address this highly complex matter. Should we be afraid? AI and cybersecurity dominated the sessions, and exhibitors, at #PRSA Icon2024. My takeaways: AI can be a very useful tool for #publicrelations professionals to improve efficiencies when producing content (it just helped me write this) and evaluating audience/consumer sentiment. However, if you have not updated your crisis communications plan to prepare for AI's threats to your company's or client's bottom line and reputation, do so now. Read: Content farming, avatars.
