This organization helps bridge an approximate two-week gap from the time a newborn is discharged from the hospital to when family support or social services become available. There is a critical need for preemie (or P1 - same size) diapers due to an unusually high demand from hospitals, and they’re struggling to keep up. As a result, we will be collecting only preemie sized diapers for this drive as it is the greatest area of need. TENUTA CASTELGIODCONDO Tenuta CastelGiocondo is home to Brunello di Montalcino DOCG, known for its longevity and complexity. The village of CastelGiocondo overlooks the historic estate of the Frescobaldis in Montalcino: an ancient stronghold built in 1100 to defend the road leading from the sea to Siena. The property is one of the first 4 to begin producing Brunello di Montalcino in 1800, and its historic importance is represented on the label of CastelGiocondo by the figure of a condottiere from a celebrated fresco of the Sienese artist Simone Martini. CastelGiocondo Brunello di Montalcino 2020 Balanced and full of character "CastelGiocondo is a unique place in Montalcino, where the diverse exposures and soils – galestro, clay and Pliocene sand – create a Brunello with infinite layers. With complex notes that evolve over time, there is always something new to discover, savor and remember." Brunello CastelGiocondo 2020 has a wonderfully intense, brilliant ruby red color. Even in this very favorable vintage, it stands out for its unmistakable elegance and intriguing complexity. The bouquet opens with floral notes followed by fruity sensations that recall small red and black fruits. Tertiary and spicy aromas follow, such as licorice, nutmeg, green tea leaves and coffee beans. The tannic structure is refined and dense, with a mineral quality that envelops the palate and stands out for its harmony. The finish is long and persistent. CastelGiocondo Ripe al Convento Brunello Riserva 2019 Personality and extraordinary longevity The result of scrupulous manual selection which starts on the vine and continues in the cellar with the selection of each grape. "On the highest hills of this estate, which was already producing wines in the 1800s, a truly inspiring small Sangiovese vineyard has been identified. Located at an altitude of 450 meters, where it is exposed to the warm afternoon sun, marly soils and bracing Mediterranean winds, this Brunello reserve wine is extremely elegant, characterful and long-lasting." Ripe al Convento 2018 is brilliant ruby red in color, without no imperfections, even on the rim. On the nose, it is rich and varied, with notes ranging from very ripe yet fresh and crisp fruitiness to floral and then exploding with a dazzling kaleidoscope of tertiary aromas. Fruity sensations include the ever-present berries together with cherry and pomegranate. Among the tertiary aromas we can instantly find pleasant reminiscences of graphite, bitter cocoa and Cuban cigar. Ethereal, spicy, and fresh, its bouquet is a crescendo of sensorial discoveries, but its full power explodes on the palate, well balanced by a dense tannic texture. The intense aromatic persistence is very long. The south, southwest exposure and the natural amphitheater-shape of the vineyards concentrate the suns rays and warmth. Tenuta Perano Chianti Classico 2021 is a splendid limpid shade of ruby red . On the nose it begins with fruity notes of berries and other red fruits such as cherries and plums. The floral aspects are very evident and as always dominated by strong hints of violet and wild rose. This gives way to the spicy aroma of Perano Chianti Classico with cloves and cardamom, and ends on a fresh, balsamic note. On the palate it is mineral and rightly tannic, with a silky tannic texture, while the final taste is fresh and mineral. It has a beautiful olfactory taste response and a long, intense aromatic persistence. CASTELLO NIPOZZANO Castello Nipozzano, situated in Chianti Rùfina, is renowned for its age-worthy Sangiovese wines. The castle dating back to 1000 close to the Tuscan Appenines. Nipozzano Castle is situated in the heart of the prestigious Chianti Rufina territory, on the mountain slope overlooking the Arno river valley. The ancient defensive stronghold of Florence from the year 1000, the Castello Nipozzano is the most celebrated and historic property of the Frescobaldi family. According to popular belief Nipozzano means “without a well” – testimony to the area’s lack of water and ideal circumstances for the cultivation of grapevines. The first documentation about the renowned wines of Nipozzano dates from the Renaissance when great artists such as Donatello and Michelozzo Michelozzi regularly purchased wine from the estate. A unique feature of the territory is attributed to the foresight of an ancestor of the Frescobaldi family who, in 1855, invested 1,000 florins to begin the cultivation of varieties previously unknown in Tuscany such as Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Cabernet Franc and Petit Verdot. After more than a century of patient care, these magnificent vines produce the great wine of the estate, Mormoreto. Introducing Zeronimo - Leonis Blend, Premium Alcohol-Removed Red Wine World’s first 98 pt. wine to be dealcoholized Austrian winemaking couple Katja and Patrick, of the family winery Heribert Bayer, explored non-alcoholic wines during Katja’s pregnancy. They found no options that could satisfy their wine palate. So, they wondered, “Can it be done better?” With their belief and approach that excellent nonalcoholic wines can only stem from excellent alcoholic wines, they embarked on their first dealcoholization test. They selected their best red wine, “In Signo Leonis,” that had recently been awarded 98 Falstaff points. The result? A dry, multi-layered red that retains its nuances of terroir, tastes excellent, pairs beautifully with food, and presents an elegant, fresh take on wine that has resonated with wine lovers in the non-alc community. Description Fruity, refreshing, aromatic, with cool elegance, tart flavors, and noble oak spice. On the palate, juicy and subtle blackberries paired with rose hips and cranberries, a hint of bergamot and dark cherry extract.
