Senior Director Shaun Kellogg and NC Public Schools' Thomas Tomberlin presented key findings from the 2024 Evaluation Report of North Carolina’s Advanced Teaching Roles (ATR) program to the NC State Board of Education this week. The presentation offered a brief overview of the program’s statewide impacts on teacher and student outcomes, insights into program implementation across districts and recommendations for enhancing ATR’s effectiveness. It's been a busy and exciting week for school-university partnerships with The William and Ida Friday Institute for Educational Innovation's New Literacies Collaborative! Kicked off one of this year's bilingual virtual exchanges with Ms. Tzeng and students at Broughton High School in Raleigh, NC, USA. They will be collaboratively learning with Mr. Wu and students at Suzhou North America High School in Suzhou, Jiangsu, China. And Sarah Bausell, PhD and I had the privilege of engaging in a quantitative and qualitative data exploration on glocal food security with students at Gaston Early College of Medical Sciences and their teachers, Ms. Congelli and Mr. Jones. #nced #globaled #virtualexchange #pbiglobal #thinkanddo
