At a recent Both Hands project, volunteers gathered to serve a widow by repairing her shed, weeding, and completing various other tasks—all in one day. The event was organized as a fundraiser to support a family’s adoption journey. It was incredible to witness the community come together, showing both generosity and compassion. Being part of this meaningful event not only helped our widow but also brought hope to a family dealing with the financial burden that comes with adoption. #BothHands #TheWidowCollaborative

We are excited to share that Amy, one of our Co-Founders, was recently invited to tour Jeremiah Program's St. Paul location—a nonprofit committed to breaking the cycle of poverty by supporting single moms and their children. ?? The Jeremiah Program focuses on both generations, providing career-focused education, early childhood programs, safe, affordable housing, and one-on-one coaching to help moms achieve their goals. Amy had the opportunity to see firsthand the bright and welcoming educational spaces, beautifully furnished apartments from Ashley Furniture, and community spaces where moms can gather with family and coaches. Founded in Minneapolis, the Jeremiah Program now has 9 locations across the country, making an impact on families nationwide. Amy was incredibly inspired by their mission and the work they're doing to drive conversations about single motherhood and poverty. ? This milestone means that we are fully able to accept tax-deductible donations and gifts, allowing us to grow our support for widows everywhere even further.
