Exciting news from Bay West!?Training is complete and our new Remote Water Vehicles (RWV) are ready for deployment.?Our?RWVs?are lightweight and portable which allows them to operate on small, hard to access surface waters. Whether remote-controlled or deployed autonomously, the RWVs will improve the efficiency and effectiveness of cleanups.?With their size and remote-operated capability, these RWVs significantly reduce the manpower needed for cleanup operations.?Equipped with cameras, GPS, sonar, and LiDAR, these compact bots can conduct bathymetry assessments, detect subsurface anomalies associated with illegal disposal or sinking oils, and contain/collect floating contaminants. ?
