Join us in celebrating the promotion of Matt Haines to Food & Beverage Operations Manager at The Westin Kierland!
After earning his Business Degree from Arizona State University, Matt honed his skills at Civana Carefree Wellness Resort and the Fox Concept Restaurant, Culinary Dropout, where he played a pivotal role in opening a new location and training new staff. His journey led him to the Fairmont Princess as their Pool Complex Supervisor in May 2021, and in February 2022, he joined The Westin Kierland as an Assistant F&B Manager, quickly becoming an integral part of the Pool Leadership Team.
In his new role, Matt will continue to oversee Pool Operations, including our recently transformed cabana experience. His dedication and leadership have been invaluable to our team.
When Matt’s not elevating our guest experiences, you can find him embodying our “Go. Be. Happy.” mantra through a myriad of activities. He stays active with workouts, hiking, and playing basketball, golf, softball, snowboarding, volleyball and pickleball. In his down time, he delves into stock market history, cherishes moments with family and friends, explores new restaurants, and embarks on new adventures with his beloved dog.
