Thank you so much HMH for coming to volunteer at The WASH Foundation. You are making a real difference in the world by helping us improve people's health and transform their lives!
We're #HMHProud of all the work employees are putting in around the globe to make an impact locally. Orlando, Florida: Volunteers joined The WASH Foundation to process, quality check, sort, and box incoming soaps and hygiene products, providing essential materials to those in need. The WASH Foundation is an independent nonprofit aiming to reduce the number of hygiene-related deaths using discarded supplies from the hospitality industry. Boston, Massachusetts: City Year Greater Boston hosted an event where employees painted a football field on the blacktop at Dudley Street Neighborhood Charter School, which recently adopted a new mascot (the Dudley Dragons). Additionally, volunteers facilitated activities for kindergarten and first-grade students during their recess period. Milwaukee, Wisconsin: A local team came together to revitalize a garden space at the West Allis-West Milwaukee Recreation Department. The group pulled weeds, moved rocks, trimmed overgrown plants, planted bulbs for spring, and laid down new mulch. Central Florida: Participants assisted Second Harvest Food Bank of Central Florida's production kitchen in packaging meals for children in need. Volunteers sealed meal trays and prepared boxes on an assembly line. Second Harvest provides access to fresh, healthy food while building community connections. San Antonio, Texas: San Antonio-area colleagues prepared and served breakfast, lunch and dinner meals for residents of Haven for Hope. Employees washed dishes, swept, and greeted the residents to support the cause of helping people experiencing homelessness. Haven for Hope works to meet individuals where they are and support them as they move toward self-sufficiency.

“Soap may be easy to obtain for many, but for families like ours, every penny counts. The free soap we received not only helps with our finances but also ensures our children stay clean and protected from diseases.” — Myra, mother to Zejay, Philippines. Thanks to our amazing partners Amazon and The WASH Foundation, an evolution of Clean the World Foundation, for contributing over 200,000 hygiene kits in the last two years, and to The WASH Foundation for providing 4 million bars of soap this year alone. Together, we’ve reached thousands of children and families in the Philippines and Zambia, helping these communities better protect themselves from communicable diseases like cholera. #GlobalHandwashingDay #CollectiveAction #WASH #MultiplyGood
