??When there’s a lot on my mind, I really find it helpful to get outside for a walk. ??And as someone who works remotely for an organization that promotes health and wellness, I try to literally “walk the talk” and incorporate movement into my day. That’s why, at Alliance for a Healthier Generation, I try to host my weekly Office Hours as a walking call! ??Just like we encourage movement in schools through The Walking Classroom, I encourage you to get outside for a walk today and consider if you can incorporate walking and the great outdoors into just one meeting every week. #hgatwork #nature #wellness

It is a crisp morning in Chicago but it is beginning to warmup with activity at the Illinois Association for Gifted Children (IAGC) #ISGC2024conference! I am excited to share The Walking Classroom with this amazing group of folks!

What a phenomenal few days in #LittleRock celebrating America’s Healthiest Schools at Alliance for a Healthier Generation’s Leaders Summit. These 879 schools are implementing best practices to support the health of staff, students, and families. For me, the absolute best is celebrating alongside an amazing team who show up every day with passion, empathy, grace, and thankfully, humor! Major kudos to Mary Elizabeth Sullivan for outstanding leadership. Special thanks to Arkansas Blue Cross and Blue Shield for sponsoring our morning walk with The Walking Classroom!
