We are excited to announce that Karen Petralia has joined our team as the District Sales Manager in South Carolina! With over twenty years of experience in leading and managing retail operations, Karen's proven ability to drive success through a combination of strategic business development and a people-first mindset will be a tremendous asset to our organization. She is passionate about team development, enhancing the customer experience and is dedicated to fostering a positive work environment to drive success. Recently, seven of our Health Enthusiasts had the incredible opportunity to take part in an observational trip to the Dominican Republic with our friends at Vitamin Angels, an organization The Vitamin Shoppe has proudly supported for the past 18 years. Visiting two of Vitamin Angels’ program partners, Light A Candle Dominican Republic in La Romana and Batey Relief Alliance Inc in Santo Domingo, our team was able to see the nonprofit’s work up close and in person. Each Health Enthusiast—Store Managers Ryan Slattery, Judy Kline, & Meghan Moore; District Sales Manager Andrew Luckadoo; Regional Director Adela Haddock; Senior Director, Corporate Communications David Lipke; and Community Manager Lindsay McSwigan—came away from the experience with a profoundly personal appreciation for Vitamin Angels’ extraordinary impact in supporting the health of mothers, children, and their families: "Being able to see firsthand where all of our stores’ fundraising efforts go was awesome, but the education and care for the individuals after receiving the supplements was the most rewarding part for me personally. Last week, our retail leadership team gathered in Newark, NJ for an inspiring Field Leadership Meeting! Over the course of a few exciting days, our team engaged in interactive sessions focused on our three core pillars: Quality, Innovation, and Expertise. We partnered with Backpacks For Life to support homeless and at-risk veterans by assembling backpacks filled with essential resources. We also hosted our annual V Excellence Awards Dinner, celebrating Health Enthusiasts for their outstanding contributions across the organization. At its heart, this gathering was about our why—the purpose that drives us every day: helping people on their journey to lifelong wellness, because everyone deserves good health.
