You've probably worked with people who believe they are “bulletproof.” This belief often comes from past successes, creating an invisible armor of perceived invulnerability. In this video, we explore with Josh of The Village Institute for Psychotherapy how this mindset is often rooted in unresolved trauma or shame. Instead of denying pain, true strength comes from embracing vulnerability, and denying the heroic fantasy of invincibility. Josh’s specialty began in the world of trauma and addiction and has grown to include, as he calls it, “high achievers who are miserable.” He is passionate about working with couples, having trained specifically in EFT.
