The Vervain Collective was formed to support the natural health community - the health conscious and the curious, the professionals, the growers, the makers, and the dabblers. We collectively learn about and celebrate relationships with plants, minerals, fungi, microorganisms, and each other. We welcome people at all points in their journeys as they seek opportunities to meaningfully increase wellness and build a healthy, more connected community. Through our work, we support the integrated network of local herb farmers who emphasize sustainable and regenerative farming. We create business opportunities and connections for local medicine makers. We ensure that all community members have access to plant medicine by providing products and services along multiple price points and engaging in trade and donation relationships with service-providing organizations.

    We're in the last couple days of our Crowdfunding Campaign! https://lnkd.in/g9WUPrbE 136 Contributors have brought us 86% of the way to our goal!! Thank you - we love you!!! With over $21,000 raised to support Vervain's move from Garden City to our bigger and brighter future in West Downtown Boise, we are feeling so energized! We have 3 days left in the campaign to get us to our goal of $25k! Let's spotlight one of our rewards,?Custom Herbal Consultation with Dr. Nicole Pierce, NMD! Unlock the healing power of nature with a caring and personalized touch! At the $400 level, you'll have the unique opportunity to schedule a one-on-one session with Dr. Nicole Pierce, NMD, one of The Vervain Collective's co-owners and a licensed naturopathic physician specializing in botanical medicine. Naturopathic physicians like Dr. Pierce undergo rigorous training, including a four-year, graduate-level program at an accredited naturopathic medical school with an added focus on holistic health. During your session, Dr. Pierce will craft a custom herbal blend tailored specifically to your needs and you'll take home the finished product to support your wellness journey. Not local? No problem—virtual sessions are available! You'll also receive all the rewards offered at the lower levels. Join us in bringing holistic health to our community!   • We did it! We packed up our entire shop in 2 days - thanks to the help of our amazing Shop Stewards Amanda & Erika and some supportive men friends who brought their muscles and drills! For the next couple (few?) weeks, we're running Vervain from our laptops and a guesthouse full of boxes. We are make-the-best-of-it kind of gals!   • One fated evening long ago, Kelsey & Dr. Nicole chatted after a fun?Power Party Sculpt dance class about how cool it would be to start an herb shop in Boise. When we opened inside Roots Zero Waste Market with this goal and vision in 2019, we had no idea how many incredible people we’d meet along the way! Our eclectic and skilled?team has never stopped listening, pivoting, and evolving to make The Vervain Collective a beautiful and welcoming place. We've learned so much from our wonderful shop stewards, customers, colleagues, students, local growers, DIYers, foragers, sustainability experts, practitioners, and teachers. We are proud to call them friends and we feel inspired every day! Here's what Erika of Wild Ginger Farm + Forage - our first Shop Steward - has to share about Vervain.
