The 2024 Faith Build united 19 faith groups, including seven United Methodist congregations, in a collaborative mission to build homes and hope. Led by Greater Des Moines Habitat for Humanity, this project exemplifies the Methodist spirit of service and community. United Methodists contributed 169 hours of labor, financial support, and meals. Mpox, formerly Monkey Pox, has seen a surge in Africa, affecting over 17,000 people across 13 countries. The Democratic Republic of Congo is hardest hit, with limited access to care.
