It’s been about 30 years since I was last in Lethbridge, and I’m still impressed by the High Level Bridge. An engineering marvel and the world’s longest and highest steel trestle bridge. Built in 1909, it stretches 5,327 feet (1.6 km) long and rises 314 feet (96 m) above the Oldman River. Originally constructed for the CP Railway ...a striking landmark and a testament to early 20th century ingenuity.
